Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Evara Health ("Evara", "we", "us") provides a period, pregnancy, and family-health tracking service. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we store it, and the choices you have. It is written for review — you should not treat it as legal advice.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email, phone number, password hash, sign-in provider.
- Health & journey data — cycle dates, pregnancy stage, symptoms, moods, hydration, notes, checklists.
- Commerce data — orders, shipping address, payment status (payment card data never touches our servers; it is handled by Cashfree).
- Device & usage data — device type, browser, IP address, error diagnostics.
3. How we use your data
- Deliver the tracker, dashboard, reminders, and personalized insights.
- Process orders, ship products, and provide customer support.
- Send transactional messages (order updates, OTPs) over WhatsApp or email.
- Debug, secure the service, and prevent abuse.
4. Legal bases (GDPR/DPDP)
Consent (health data, marketing), contract (fulfilling orders you place), legitimate interest (security), legal obligation (tax, retention).
5. Sharing
- Cashfree (payment processing).
- MSG91 (WhatsApp OTP delivery).
- Hosted infrastructure providers we operate on.
- Doctors/consultants only when you explicitly book a session.
6. Your rights
Access, correct, export, or delete your data anytime via your dashboard or by emailing privacy@evara.health. We respond within 30 days.
7. Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after deletion. Order/tax records are kept for 7 years as required by law.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Row-level security policies enforce that only you can access your records.
9. Children
Evara is not intended for users under 16. Do not use the service if you are under 16.
